I didn't know and didn't expect that I will have so much fun. The fun and excitement started from the moment I decided to sign up. I had a very fruitful chat with Mary to understand what was all these about and she also shared a lot of other information to prepare me for the shot.
She is constantly keeping in touch.
On the actual day of the shoot, I felt so welcome by her and her makeup artist. It was so comfortable, it was like I have known her for years, she really put me at ease. During that session, I had so much fun and laughter. Yes, the poses were not easy but I managed to do it based on my standard. Haha!
When I first saw my photos during the reveal, my tears just dropped. Even now while I'm typing this, my tears still dropped. It was so beautiful and unbelievable (to me). The beauty of the photos were really genuinely from the heart! Mary has make me a super star!

The photoshoot exceeded my expectations.
I have a couple of friends who did the photoshoot previously, and hearing about their experience enforced my belief that I wanted to do this ever since I found out about it. There's no better time than the present.
From the start (when Mary contacted me) to the prep session (emails and notes to prepare before the shoot), on the day (getting to know you, make up, deciding on outfits and poses) all the way to the end (reveal and post follow up) it is an experience that I can't express in words, other than it being unforgettable.
The reveal session was definitely a very emotional experience for me. Mary captured me in a way that I could still see myself on the outside, but also on the inside. I say this because the friends that did the photoshoots before me, Mary captured their inner beauty in a way only others see them, through their eyes, through her lens.

You should definitely do this! Mary saw to every detail, from being able to make me smile candidly to telling me how to loosen my fingers so it looks natural. Mary and her assistant also helped me throughout and they kept me at ease making me feel so beautiful. I did not once feel awkward or shy during the shoot. I had so much to take away from the session and it has made me want to do more shoots!

Mary became my mentor, my friend and confidant with each week leading to the shoot, we would check in over coffee. It became apparent early on in the piece that Mary's vision is to dedicate her time and skills to each of her clients, to listen to their story and provide empowerment to each of the women with photography as a medium for creative expression.
